In 2006, Pretty Sisters took  women from across the U.S. on an inspirational cruise. While preparing our theme for this trip (and the theme for our company), Callie Steuer (Pretty Sisters Co-Founder) drew a diagram that described how she finds success-time and time again making her dreams come true. The formula came down to these three key steps: Dream, Believe, and Create (now an official slogan of Pretty Sisters).

Let's look closely at this recipe. 

Dream! Carl Sandburg said, "Nothing happens unless first we dream." Having a dream that feels good to our souls and resonates with our higher, spirit selves is the beginning of a powerful process that can lead us to manifest something good-not only for ourselves, but for our world. There are other dreams that may be more frivolous in nature; but achieving them still brings happiness.

Believe!  Passionately believing in our dreams is how we make our dreams come true.  An unknown writer said, "Dreams are like the paints of a great artist. Your dreams are your paints, the world is your canvas. Believing is the brush that converts your dreams into a masterpiece of reality." Faith is the mechanism that allows our dreams to spring forth into reality. Even though it may not seem so, it's easy to have faith in dreams that resonate deep within our heart. 

Create!  Author Louise Hays says, "Every thought I think is creating my future!"  Eventually, our thoughts manifest our reality. The first step in creating is this: believing in our dreams so powerfully that doing so positively occupies our every thought.  Chances are, if we are asking for something we don't have, we need to change-we need to alter our patterns of thought and heal the beliefs that feed our negative thinking. After all, if we think what we always thought, we'll get what we always got! Albert Einstein made a powerful observation in his statement: "The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them." When we ask for something we don't have, we find ourselves problem solving. Remember, trial and error is part of the creation process. It's all too common to encounter a refiner's fire on the road to manifesting big dreams. One of the most powerful ways to learn is by making mistakes. It's through trial and error that all great dreams are brought to past.

For this month's personal focus, begin the process of making dreams come true by following this recipe. Make your wish lists . . . write it all down. Think big. Then begin step two by having faith in your dreams and in you! Lastly, have the courage to face the obstacles and transform them; and, stay focused and committed.
