Celebrate Spring With a New Dress!
After years of separates, dresses are back in a big way. Florals or
geometrics, wraps or shirt dresses, the 2007 styles celebrate the female form and femininity. Knee length seems to be the common theme. Luckily for the shopping enthusiasts these fresh spring designs come in all price ranges. Pair your feminine frock with a kitten heel or peek-a-boo toe shoe of your choice.
Are you the type of Pretty Sister who would rather clean out a dorm room microwave with your own toothbrush than show your gams from the knees down? Make sure you own a white tiered ankle-length skirt this season. I promise you they look great on all age ranges. One bit of fashion advice: If you are over twenty-five years of age skip the skirts with raw edges. It's too faddish for the ladies in their prime. White skirts were hot last summer and they are back again on the rack with Ralph Lauren's name on them and the price tag to match. Don't worry this spring's fashion basic can be found in a more modest price range too. Since the skirt is sans color, go wild with your top but keep the details simple and close to the body. Ballerina tied wedges in a coordinating or matching hue will make you look fresh from head to toe. Remember the rule of threes: Wear three things of the same color to pull together your ensemble. My favorite fashion accessory this spring is a semi-precious, multi-strand bracelet in sea green and lavender that my husband purchased in the Bahamas. I have a sea green top and a lavender top that will look fresh and cool with the white skirt. A springy bag, sandals or hair accessory completes it.
Fashion is my passion and if you are in Western Colorado from April 15-22, I am happy to assist you freshen your wardrobe for spring. Contact me at loriwynne@gmail.com .
