How Did Pretty Sisters Come About?

In early 2005, the founding Pretty Sisters (Rebecca Linder Hintze, Martha Linder Montagnoli, and Callie Linder Steuer) came together with the desire to help women recognize the possibilities that exist in their lives, and believe that possibilities can become reality. The name, Pretty Sisters, originated as a Linder family nick-name for the sisters in the family. As teenagers, Rebecca and Martha Linder affectionately called Callie, their youngest sister, “Pretty Sister.” The affectionate nickname was about who Callie was inside, not how she looked on the outside. It had a lasting and profound impact on Callie's life. Whether a student, wife, mother, or professional business woman, she recognized the opportunities in her life and embraced them with great energy. She made things happen! As the sisters grew, Callie began calling her sisters, “Pretty Sister.” The founding sisters asked themselves, “If every woman could see herself as the Pretty Sister, would she live her life differently—would she see possibilities surrounding her and turn opportunities into reality?” With a mission and moniker now in hand, Rebecca, Martha, and Callie founded Pretty Sisters, LLC.
